Can blank CSV fields erase my ShipStation product data?
Blank cells can clear stored values, with exceptions for Active and tags. This checker highlights populated-to-blank differences so you can review them before importing.
Does this checker update my ShipStation account?
No. It compares two CSV files locally and exports a diagnostic change report. Apply reviewed changes through ShipStation yourself.
What if a SKU is missing from the proposed CSV?
It is listed as absent from the update, without inferring deletion. A SKU found only in the proposed file is flagged for review as a possible new product.
Can I use custom CSV column names?
The checker recognises documented template fields and spacing variants. Rename other headers to their intended ShipStation field names to compare them. Unknown columns remain visible as unverified fields.
