How to read SPF and verification TXT records

A vendor asked you to prove a TXT record, or mail is failing SPF. Read TXT with DNS Lookup.

SPF is the TXT record that starts with v=spf1. Two SPF records on one name are a misconfiguration.
SPF is the TXT record that starts with v=spf1, and a second SPF record on the same name is a misconfiguration.

What to run

Use DNS Lookup. DNS Lookup is DNS-over-HTTPS from the browser and does not follow CNAMEs.

How to read the result

Several SPF records on the same name are a misconfiguration.

Verification tokens are exact strings; compare them, do not "fix" them.

What to open next

None of these records are checked by Whois Lookup. Whois is RDAP: registrar, statuses, dates, and nameservers. It will not show TXT.
